In this assignment I am going to explain about cardiovascular disease in U.K. This depicts the impact of this condition on the nation and people. I would like to explain about the role of TNA to implement action plan of Government to tackle this condition.
TYPES OF CVD
1. Coronary heart disease
? Heart attacks
? Heart failure
2. Strokes and TIAs
3. Peripheral arterial disease
4. Aortic disease(NHS,2018)
Health is a physically, mentally and emotionally comfortable state, purely without any illness (WHO, 1948).
“Illness is disease or period of sickness affecting the body or mind”(Oxford dictionaries,2018).
“Quality of Life is an individuals’ perception of their position in life in the context of the culture and value systems in which they live and in relation to their goals, expectations, standards and concerns”(WHO,1997).
Epidemiology is the study of the reasons and issues of health-related problems and the application of these studies to control of diseases and other health problems (WHO,2018).

Health promotion is the procedure which allows people to control over, and to refine, their health (WHO, 2018).
ROLE OF TNA
As per (NMC, 2018) TNA plays an inevitable role in the prevention of illness by engaging in public health, community development and in the reduction of health inequalities. TNA should understand the health promotion; promote preventive health behaviours by explaining the importance of health screening.
? Specialist nurses
? Medical team
? Occupational therapists
? Smoking cessation specialists are there to support our patients by delivering health promotion services. Our team assess the patient needs and refer the patient to appropriate services immediately.
Some health promotion strategies do not sufficiently respect the individual’s right to autonomy (self-determination) and liberty,i.e. the right to make decisions about one’s life, and about specific issues concerning that life(J, gardner,2018).
According to (WHO, 2018) Health in all policy has four principles in health promotion legitimacy, accountability, transparency and public participation. By implementing the Government health promotion programmes with public participation strengthen the role of civil society and thus help to achieve broader benefits.
Health promotion plays an inevitable role in health .The active participation of the society along with Government programme will mould a healthy generation for that
