JOB DESCRIPTION OF DGM ( PMC TECH CONSTRUCTION
Responsibilities:
a) Perform and manage project activity scheduling and monitoring
b) Developing, implementing and ensuring the Project team produces weekly / monthly reports providing details on progress, actuals, forecast and explanation of variances.
c) Ensure that project controls processes are consistently applied across the project,
d) Manage governance to ensure robust cost and schedule performance for the agreed Scope of Work across integrated Role programs managed across multiple suppliers
e) Support and advise on the definition of Project Controls and Earned Value Management policies, procedures and the standards required to deliver projects
f) Support the development of requirements for specific resource-loaded schedules.
g) Work closely with the Project Manager, Operations Managert Commercial manager and Project QS to maximize the potential of the project.
h) Responsible for project budgeting and monitoring.
i) Responsible for procurement and resource planning
j) Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
k) Provide planning and cost controlling support for all projects which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress to the preparation of customer billing processes, etc
l) Perform technical and commercial review of long time tenders (subcontractor’s quotations) for the preparation of Service agreements
m) Ensure effective project implementation and utilize productive reports from the creation of WBS with the use of project management system to monitor the status of all purchases, invoicing and delivery up to the closure of the project.
n) Attend project meetings and discussions with the PMT and external clients
o) Perform project costing related reporting to the team and management’s review on a monthly basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.
p) Provide cost control and planning advice to the internal PMT team as and when required
q) Develop, execute and analyze quality-reporting measures.
r) Responsible for handling legal cases and legal compliance
s) Responsible for ad hoc reporting
t) To review and sign off the tender / bid documents and / or variations
u) Responsible for strategic financial management , financial leadership, compliance & management stakeholders management,
