Out of all the liquids the nail polish remover had the fastest evaporation rate

Out of all the liquids the nail polish remover had the fastest evaporation rate.
According to the data, the nail polish remover was obviously the fastest. It was 11.625 times lower than the second lowest liquid on Day 4. It also had the lowest initial weight. It went from 164g to 16g. The apple cider vinegar went from 199g to 186g, the water went from 200g to 188g, and the orange juice went from 208g to 195g.
The results vary because they all have different characteristics. For evaporation to happen the molecules have to build up a certain amount of energy which is dependant on the liquid’s properties. It mostly comes down to the weight of each molecule. Nail polish remover is mostly made up of the chemical acetone, which has a very low density. This causes the liquid to have less molecules that have weaker molecular bonds and less mass. This is different for the other liquids which is why the nail polish remover evaporates faster.
