Throughout my 4 years of high school I have always tried to volunteer and help out people in whichever way I can, from donating food to food drives, to helping out with events in the community, like holiday parties for children. Along with helping out people I have also taken a part in a leadership program that’s helped me learn how to advocate for people who don’t have a voice and taught me ways in which I can help out people. By participating in these activities I’ve come to discover what I hope to do in the future. In ten years I hope to have graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, so that I can become a police officer and eventually make my way up to become a detective. Interning at a police station has given me hands on experiencing, further confirming what I’m passionate in doing. I love to help people out and I believe that the best way for me to accomplish that is by directly helping out people who need it. I hope to be working in a police station, helping out as many people as I can. Along with doing this I also hope to continue to assist my community in whichever way they need me to.
